@PaulDog9 – yeah, f1 cars are so fast, and you have air conditioning in them, and good stereo, and two seats for you and for your woman, and leather seats, and they are road legal, and have a trunk… yes, f1 cars are amazing

@bikeracerguy thats because nascar drivers and there teams dont spend millions of dollars on there car to go that fast an indy car weighs roughly 1,600 pounds with 800 horsepower+ traction control and every other high tech thing you can jam in one of those cars costing around 7 million dollars for the car, not for upkeep and entry fees. a stock car “nascar” weighs 3,400 pounds with 800 horspower, power to weight ratio in these cars is no comparison. and costs under a third of the price to build
i love watching the “speed comparisons” at the Melbourne F1 G.P, I watch it every year.
You couldnt see a Nascar do that.

It reminds me about the GT4 game, where you have the same “one lap battle” challenges. The bad cars start first, and you have to catch them with a supersport- or a racecar!! Amazing video!!

@drsta84 its both. it is cause the gears are straight cut but the engine is also revving over 10k so yeh know its like ahhhhhhhhhhh im eating babies for breakfast

Yes ford did this as well. Stewart f1, Ford Focus rally car and focus road car. Also Honda did it in 1990 with a Civic, Porsche and Mclaren honda f1 driven my senna.

The sound of that F1 engine is simply awesome, especially as Coulthard overtakes the opposition in the final corner. As a friend of mine once said as we watched the Spanish GP at the track; “it’s an assault on the senses” !
